[dusty]
yes, I still live.
(a cookie to anybody who gets the title reference w/o google)
the hiatus has dragged on far longer than I anticipated. My excuse is that I've had a lot on my plate these past few weeks and consequently I've been distracted from resuming work. Basically all this time my contribution has been mulling over some concepts and new concepts - namely warfare and political stuffs but also some solid concepts for Odweonne (plural Odweonner) and Pondyns.
I'm a little miffed that my inactivity seems to have placed a freeze on progress. Stiddy's getting giddy to show off some new concepts. My take is; by all means, post it onto KMI and it will be studied. What's everyone been waiting for? I'm currently sitting on a generous cache of sketches and Sketchup 3ds that I might sift through some day soon and figure out how to submit to KMI for your enjoyment. Again, my focus is on armors, weapons, war robots, and the occasional critter.
I'm intrigued by Reese's new direction. I'd like to hear something from him about his future role in the project. But the method of such contact would be hard for me to fathom at the moment.
Sander's aware of my impending internet not-having...ness, but to those others, I will very likely not have internet at my house for an indeterminate period of time. My older brother, being a Tool of prestigious measures, has been on his computer all day every day (literally) and steadfastly refuses to get or keep a job, while burning through cigarettes at a prodigal rate. So because he needs to peel his face off his computer screen, we're going to hand him the bill to the internet. Naturally, he won't get a job so he can't afford it, and if he ever got a job, he'll buy cigarettes first. Hopefully he'll move out some day but I'm not holding my breath. It's all his fault.
I understand that my dad's trying to figure out some means for the rest of us to use internet at the college, but at best that would be a once-a-day session thing and more likely once-a-week. Oh well, we'll figure something out.
so at the moment I'm enjoying some nice sunburn in Galveston, Texas, where I'll be for the remainder of the week. I'm dying in the heat. I'm currently borrowing my mom's laptop but I'm pretty sure that I'll be hard to contact after this week, but do so either through email or deviantart.
word.
